How RSI, CCI, Stochastic, Force Index, Bull/Bear Power, ADX/DMI, MACD, Fractals, and EMA Zones interact inside the Global Algorithmic Trading Software (GATS)
🔹 Introduction
In the Global Daily Insights and across all GATS strategies, indicators are never viewed in isolation. Instead, they are layered inside the Color-Coded EMA Zones framework, anchored on the Daily (M1440). This ensures that momentum, strength, and price action signals are always interpreted relative to structural market zones.
🔹 EMA Zones as the Market Map
The seven EMA zones form the foundation of all analysis:
- Momentum Zone (1–8): Immediate thrust.
- Acceleration Zone (9–15): Engine of trend continuation.
- Transition Zone (16–25): Gateway between momentum and value.
- Value Zone (26–50): Fair value retracement area.
- Correction Zone (51–89): Deeper pullbacks, healthy corrections.
- Reassessment Zone (90–140): Uncertainty, possible structural shift.
- Long-Term Zone (141–200): Macro anchor, institutional trend bias.
All other indicators must be read in relation to these zones.
🔹 Indicators and Their Role
RSI (14)
Measures relative strength. RSI above 50 during pullbacks into Value/Correction zones confirms bullish continuation; below 40 suggests regime risk.
CCI (14)
A statistical deviation gauge. +100 readings in Momentum/Acceleration zones validate thrust; below -100 in Reassessment/Correction zones warns of deeper pullbacks.
Stochastic (14,3,3)
A timing tool. Oversold (<20) in the Value Zone can provide entry triggers; overbought (>80) near Correction/Reassessment zones cautions against chasing.
Force Index (13)
Combines price and volume. Positive spikes in Transition/Value zones confirm breakouts; negative spikes in Correction zones suggest selling dominance.
Bull Power (13) & Bear Power (13)
Gauges dominance of buyers vs sellers. Bull Power rising in EMA25–50 zones supports long entries; Bear Power surging in EMA90–140 zones signals caution.
ADX (14), +DMI, -DMI
Validates trend strength. ADX above 20 with +DMI dominance supports long trades above EMA25; ADX below 20 suggests consolidation, regardless of EMA alignment.
MACD (15,25,8)
Acts as the momentum governor. Aligned with EMA25 (fast) and EMA50/89 (slow), filtering momentum shifts within the backbone/regime structure.
Fractals
Swing anchors. Useful for timing entries near EMA25/50 pullbacks and for stop placement when combined with DAATS and ATR bands.
🔹 Practical Workflow (M1440 Anchor → Execution on M60/M240)
- Anchor: Identify trend backbone (EMA25 vs EMA200).
- Filter: Confirm regime alignment (EMA50 vs EMA89).
- Momentum Governor: Ensure MACD(15,25,8) agrees.
- Strength Validator: Check ADX(14) > 20.
- Confirmers: RSI, CCI, Bull/Bear Power align with trend.
- Trigger: Stochastic cross + fractal break in trend direction.
- Execution: Enter on M60/M240 respecting DAATS trailing.
- Exit: DAATS trailing stop or EMA25↔200 structural flip.
🔹 Integration Summary
The framework ensures consistency:
- EMA Zones = Market Map
- MACD + ADX = Governors
- RSI, CCI, Stochastic, Force, Bull/Bear = Confirmers
- Fractals = Anchors
This integration prevents isolated signals from misleading the trader and anchors every decision in the structural logic of GATS.
